Do I need a paid app for product recommendations?

No. Search & Discovery is Shopify’s free app. FrameStoreKit reads its picks and Shopify’s related products through the Storefront API.

Can I offer a discount on the set?

Yes. Create an automatic Buy X Get Y discount in Shopify, for example “buy this, get the pair 20% off”. Shopify applies it in the cart.

What if a product has no complementary picks?

Choose “Complementary + Related” and Shopify’s related products fill the gap, or the component hides itself.

Do recommendations follow the shopper’s country?

Yes. Prices load in the shopper’s Shopify Markets currency.
